Chopfest 

Every summer, since 2024, we have held a community festival for the people in and around Chopwell, called Chop Fest.

With live music, activities for all ages and a free community BBQ, this is a well-loved event which is for anyone from the community to come and have fun and spend time together.

In previous years we have had crafts for children, visits from local emergency services, inflatables and table games, face painting, musicians and performers, alpacas and market stalls.

We also use this as an opportunity for the community to learn more about the local church and other things that we hold there on a regular basis, so that they know of other activities taking place should they want to come along.

Chop Fest is supported by an incredible team of volunteers from both Strathmore Road and Chopwell Methodist Church and other incredible organisations that we have built relationships with over the years. The fantastic Bridges team take on the responsibility of providing the BBQ, which is hugely appreciated by the community.
