District Archivist

We are pleased to inform you that we now have a new District Archivist.  Joan Littlefair from the NW Durham Circuit has kindly volunteered to take on this role.

If you have anything that you feel needs to be archived, please contact Joan. Joan plans to be at Trinity Church, Wallsend, where the archives are stored, on the following dates leading up to Christmas:  21 October, 11 November, 2 December between 10.30am-3pm.  It would therefore be possible for the items to be dropped off at Trinity Church, Wallsend when Joan is there.  Alternative arrangements to drop off at Leadgate is also a possibility.  Please contact Joan to make arrangements or if you have any queries.

Over the coming months Joan will be organising and labelling all the items.  As you can imagine this will be an enormous task so Joan would greatly appreciate any offers of help, even if it is just for a couple of hours. Please do get in touch with Joan if you can help.
