Circuit Services 

All the congregations in the Circuit meet together regularly for worship.

At Strathmore Road, we are going to host two such gatherings in the coming weeks.

At 4 p.m. on 19th April we will be celebrating the fact that a new Local Preacher has completed their formal training and is now formally authorized to serve as a Methodist preacher.

Then, at 4 p.m. on 14th June, we celebrate the time for which Janet Capstick has served in our Circuit as she prepares to "sit down". Methodist Ministers are spoken of as travelling during their ministry so, rather than retiring they are said to "sit down". It marks a time when the Methodist Church no longer sends them to a particular place to minister but they are allowed to choose a place to settle.
