Our Mission Statement

We aim to live our lives together in community with each other and the world around us following the example and teaching of Jesus Christ and in meaningful worship of God our Creator.

Our Aims & Objectives

Worship

Our worship provides a gateway into God’s presence and through our worship we increase our awareness of God’s presence and celebrate God’s love. We offer our worship as a pleasing sacrifice to God.

Prayer

We believe in the importance of spending time in prayer with God and aim to give prayer a high priority because through prayer God moves.

Youth

We value young people both inside and outside the Church. Our vision is to see young people brought into a faith in Christ. We enable young people to contribute fully to the life of the Church and community.

Learning & Development

We aim to make disciples of people through preparing God’s people for works of service and we encourage lifelong learning in the Christian faith.

Pastoral

We believe opportunities for fellowship and access to support should be available to all.

Outreach

We aim to make more followers of Jesus Christ. We aim to be aware of the needs that arise in the community and the wider world and we are prepared to respond.

Stewardship

We believe that being a Christian impacts on all areas of our lives and calls for responsible stewardship of money, time and property.

Jesus said The most important commands are these ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, all your mind and all your strength.’ and ‘Love your neighbour as you love yourself.’ Mark 12:30-31
